Important Notes

You may sue in person (i.e. filing an Application/a claim without appointing a solicitor) in The Lands Tribunal / Small Claims Tribunal /other appropriate forumORInstruct a solicitor from Insurer’s nominated legal panel to commence legal proceedings against the tenant on your behalf to recover the Rent in arrears or regain possession of the Insured Premises

重要說明

針對租客的法律訴訟應在未付租金超過押金金額之日起 14 天內開始 受保處所的傢俱、固定裝置及裝置損毀 (延長租金保障)

1. 受損財產及其狀況的詳細清單

2. 事故報告或大樓經理出具的信函,證明損失的位置和原因

3. 受損財產的原始購買收據

4. 維修費用估算。(在進行任何維修之前,應由保險公司索賠部門提交並批准)

5. 損壞的彩色照片 重要說明 由於可能需要進行現場調查,因此請勿丟棄任何損壞的物品。未經保險公司授權棄置損壞的物品可能會導致您的索賠被拒絕


1. Duly stamped tenancy agreement for the Insured Premises. For mid-term purchase, please provide full and complete record of rental receipts from Tenant

2. Documentary proof for loss of rent

Important Notes

Legal proceedings against the tenant should be commenced WITHIN 14 days of the date on which the outstanding rent exceeds the deposit amount

Damage to Furniture, Fixtures and Fittings of the Insured Premises (Extension to Rental Protection) 

1. Detailed inventory of the damaged property and its condition

2. Incident report or letter issued by your building manager certifying the location and the cause of the loss

3. ORIGINAL purchase receipt(s) of the damaged property

4. An estimate of repair costs. (It should be submitted and approved by INSURERS Claims Department before making any repair)

5. Color photos of the damage(s)

Because an on-site survey may be required, DO NOT dispose of any damaged items. The disposal of damaged items without Insurer's authorization may result in rejection of your claim

重要說明

- 未經保險公司書面同意,投保人或其代表不得作出、給予或同意任何承認、要約、承諾、付款或彌償- 傳票、警方信件或任何由第三方制定的索賠或通信,必須立即轉交 保險公司處理。請勿確認或回應

3. Name and Telephone Number of witness(es) (if any)

Important Notes

- NO admission, offer, promise, payment or indemnity shall be made, given or agreed by or on behalf of the Insured without Insurer’s written consent - Summons, police letter or any formulated claim or correspondence from third party, must be forwarded to Insurer IMMEDIATELY for handling. DO NOT acknowledge or respond

如果我只與我的租客簽訂了口頭協定,我可以申請此保險嗎? 
Can I apply this insurance if I only have an oral agreement with my Tenant?

No, you must have a duly stamped written Tenancy Agreement with the Tenant that complies with all the requirements of Hong Kong legislation and statutory instrument.
